We are expecting contestant entries from all over the United States and beyond. We will have a cut-off point for sign-up at 30 contestants and will make sure that this is announced on our website. The website for information is www.contestofkings.com
General Information:
The Mall of America is HUGE. The entrance to the Rotunda Stage area is from the East side of the Mall. It's a long walk around the Mall, 1/3 mile! There are 525 stores in the Mall and lots of restaurants and other eateries. The Mall surrounds a huge indoor theme park. Kidquest (Very secure and safe hourly childcare is available.) On the fourth floor above the Rotunda are Sports Bars (one with a full size bowling alley), a Comedy Club, AMC Movie Theater and more.
Dressing areas will be provided near the contest stage area, or you can come to the Mall from your hotel ready to perform. Most hotels nearby have free shuttle service to the Mall on a regular schedule. Spending time in the Mall dressed for performance will expose you to more fans so we encourage it.

Friday & Saturday Night Karaoke at Days Inn
This year we will be having Karaoke Night on Friday and Saturday at
the Days Inn immediately following the Contest. This is an opportunity to
sing and hear songs from our ETA's that you might not hear during the contest.
This is open to everyone.
Gospel
Brunch
Sunday, April 20th from 9am to 11am we will have our Gospel Breakfast
at the Days Inn. This is a rich tradition of the Contest of Kings featuring
a delicious breakfast buffet of fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, hash brown
potatoes, bacon & sausage links, pastries & muffins, chilled
fruit juice, milk and coffee. This is a fun, informal event where Elvis
Tribute Artists and fans gather to sing the beloved gospel music recorded
by Elvis. It's a great time to share the memories of the weekend with each
other, have a great breakfast, and hear the gospel of our Lord sung by
these talented artists. Cost for this is $15 per person. To order tickets

Days Inn
This is a nice hotel located directly across the street from the Mall
of America and only 5 minutes from Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport.
Amenities include an indoor swimming pool, arcade and shuttle service to/from
the airport and Mall of America.
